When do I receive payments for my shifts worked?

Coastal Care’s GPS fast pay system is a quick and efficient way to receive your payment directly into your bank account. To use this system, simply turn on your GPS and enjoy the fastest cash in town! If you work the day shift, you'll be paid within 2 hours of completing your work. For the evening shift, you'll receive payment within 13 hours, and for the night shift, your payment will be processed in just 5 hours. It's quick, easy, and reliable.

Why do shift cancellations occur?

Shift cancellations can occur for various reasons, such as changes in facility census, staffing requirements, or schedule alterations within the facility. At Coastal Care Staffing, we understand the inconvenience caused by shift cancellations, which is why we work hard to minimize the frequency of such cancellations. However, in the event of a cancellation, we strive to inform our nurses as soon as possible and assist them in finding alternative shifts that fit their schedules. Should there be a late cancellation, we have some perks to ease the inconvenience.

What if I find a facility I love and can't live without?

If you find a facility that you love, that's fantastic! It's crucial to feel comfortable and content with where you will be spending your time. Several great options are available, such as bundle contracting, temp-to-perm, or direct facility contract buy-outs. In such a case of bundle contracting, we can collaborate closely with this facility, and the best part is that once you complete your bundle contract perfectly, without any schedule changes, you will receive a bundle bonus. For other options, let's talk more about it.

How much do I get paid?

Different nursing shifts are paid differently based on several factors, such as the location, the type of facility, the type of nursing specialty, the demand for nurses, and the experience level required. For example, a nursing shift in a hospital may be paid differently than a nursing shift in a rehabilitation center because the type of care and the level of responsibility required may differ. Similarly, a nursing shift in a high-demand city may be paid differently than a nursing shift in a low-demand city. These factors can all contribute to the difference in pay rates for nursing shifts.
